Group begins donation drive in Adams County
ADAMS COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) – The Mason Dixon chapter of the Alliance of Bikers Aimed Toward Education (A.B.A.T.E.) is donating to multiple charities across Adams County.
It’s part of their Christmas for Kids campaign.
Shining Stars Horse Therapy in Gettysburg was the first recipient.
“Its incredibly humbling and honoring and also so important to what we do here,” Rachel Stoner, program director for Shining Stars, said. “A lot of our students don’t have a lot of financial resources and they have many bills, so we rely on donors, generous donors like that in order to make all of this possible.”
In total, the chapter plans to donate $50,000 to Adams County charities.
