Which grocery stores are open on Thanksgiving Day?

The majority of Americans should give thanks to the grocery stores that are open for business on Thanksgiving Day.

Three-quarters of people must shop at the day-of for their Thanksgiving meal, according to a new survey from Capital One and market research group, Wakefield. They dashed back to the supermarket to pick up a whopping 18 items on average, the survey found.

Nearly half of last-second shoppers fessed up and admitted they passed off store-made goods as their home-cooked fresh-from-the-oven creation. (It makes you wonder about grandma’s “homemade” pumpkin pie.)
