Grocery store worker charged with stabbing co-worker to death inside Brooklyn workplace after argument escalated

A grocery store worker has been charged with fatally stabbing a co-worker inside their Brooklyn workplace, police said Tuesday.

Saidalo Abdumalikov, 30, is charged with manslaughter for the Monday afternoon stabbing inside the Navruz Supermarket on McDonald Ave. by Avenue O in Midwood.

Both men had been arguing since at least the day before the stabbing, and as tensions escalated, the victim, Ulugbek Gilasov, 38, told Abdumalikov, “Go f--- your mother,” police sources said.

That’s when Abdumalikov snapped, sources said, stabbing the victim in the chest. Video shows the victim slowly collapsing to the floor, the sources said.

When medics arrived, Abdumalikov was among those at the scene who helped load the victim’s gurney into an ambulance, sources said.

Gilasov was rushed to Maimonides Medical Center but he couldn’t be saved.

It was not immediately disclosed why the two men were arguing.

Abdumalikov lists the basement of the supermarket as his residence. His arraignment in Brooklyn Criminal Court was pending Tuesday.
