Grippos, UC release new Bearcat Bar-B-Q flavor. Here's where you can find it
Snack lovers and Bearcat fans, this one's for you.
Grippos, a Cincinnati-based snack food company, and the University of Cincinnati have teamed up for a new potato chip flavor: Bearcat Bar-B-Q. The latest product is currently available at local Kroger, Thorton's, and United Dairy Farmers stores.
In addition to its spicy-sweet flavor, the limited-edition item also features the Bearcat logo on its bag design. According to an Instagram post from UC's Office of Trademarks and Licensing, a College of Arts and Sciences graduate designed the bags, featuring graphics of UC's campus and Nippert Stadium.
This isn't the first time Grippos, which has been a fixture on snack food shelves in the region since 1919, has partnered with other legendary Cincinnati brands. In the past, Grippos has also collaborated with local brands such as the Bengals, Reds, Frisch's, and others.
