Grill fire destroys townhouse
Fire destroyed a townhouse in Manheim Township, Lancaster County.
Firefighters were called to the home on the 2900 block of Aster Lane shortly after 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Manheim Township Fire Rescue Chief Rick Kane said a malfunction in a gas grill on the back deck of the house may have sparked the fire. He said several witnesses reported that it looked like the fire started at the grill.
No injuries are reported.
The townhouse is one of three connected units. Firefighters said the fire was contained to that home, and there was minimal damage to the house next to it.
