Greensboro man caught with drugs, jailed on $1.5M bond after Stanly County traffic stop
ALBEMARLE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A Greensboro man is in the Stanly County jail Monday on a $1.5 million bond for drug charges.
Stanly County Sheriff deputies stopped Elijohua Trevon Mason on Mountain Creek Road Sunday night. During a search of Mason’s vehicle, officials found over 170 grams of fentanyl.

Mason is facing the following charges:
Level III trafficking by possession of opiates
Level III trafficking by transportation of opiates
Possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver Schedule II
Possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver marijuana
Maintaining vehicle for the sale of Controlled Substances
Mason also had a handgun and marijuana in the stop.
