DOVER — Join Dover Public Library virtually on Monday, March 4, at 7 p.m. as author, photojournalist and scientist Erica Cirino shares her findings and current work communicating science-backed facts and solutions to plastic pollution as well as images from the frontlines of the plastic crisis. To receive a link to the virtual talk, sign up is needed on the Dover Public Library’s website at library.dover.nh.gov. This event is free and open to the public.

Greenland Candidates' Night

GREENLAND — The GFWC - Greenland Women’s Club will host a Greenland Candidates’ Night on Wednesday, March 6, at 6:30 p.m. at the Greenland Central School. Candidates for contested town races have been invited to attend and present their background and qualifications and respond to questions posed by the facilitator. The evening will be facilitated by Mark Connelly, a long-term member of the Budget Committee. For questions regarding the event, call 603-436-8779.

JuBilly: Irish Music Concert

DOVER — JuBilly will perform at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6. The group is made up of Jules of Dover and Billy of Cobh County Cork, Ireland. Join the duo at the Dover Public Library as they keep Irish heritage alive through traditional ballads played on guitar and accordion.

Exploring the Wonders of the Deep Sea

DURHAM — The Active Retirement Association announces a free presentation titled, “Exploring the Deep: How Ocean Mapping, Robots, and Telepresence Are Revealing the Wonders of the Deep Sea,” on Thursday, March 7, 10 to 11:30 a.m., at the Community Church of Durham, 17 Main St., Durham, and via Zoom.
