Greek-American fusion eatery opens second York County location

HANOVER, Pa. (WHTM) — A locally-owned gyro fusion eatery recently opened its second Midstate location.

The locally-owned 2Delicious is owned and operated by Midstate native Mike Mendez, who took over the American-Greek fusion eatery back in September 2021. Originally, when the establishment opened its doors, it was more Greek-focused, but under Mendez’s ownership, he prioritized the fusion concept.

2Delicious is most known for offering a wide variety of fusion gyros, which according to their website are “&%$# good!”. In addition to their restaurant location, 2Delicious also has a food truck and a food trailer that they operate across the Midstate.

Since they first opened, 2Delicious has been located at 3096 Carlisle Road in Dover, Pa., but back on Wednesday, March 6, Mendez officially opened a new location at The Markets at Hanover, located at 1649 Broadway.

“We just really want to get our food in-front of the people in Hanover,” Mendez explained.

The hours of operation for the new 2Delisious location are currently following the market’s hours of operation, which are:

  • Wednesdays // 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

  • Thursdays – Fridays // 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Saturdays // 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

“Exciting is the first word that comes to mind,” Mendez exclaimed. “The staff are putting a lot of work into this and they are all super excited. None of this would have been possible without the staff.”
