Great Scott! Starz Just Announced the ‘Outlander’ Season 4 Premiere Date

Break out the tartan print and historical insight, because Outlander season four is officially on its way.

Starz announced today that the period drama starring Caitriona Balfe (Claire) and Sam Heughan (Jamie) will return to the small screen on Sunday, November 4.

The fourth season will show Claire, a 20th century doctor with time-traveling abilities, and her 18th century hubby, Jamie, relocating to North Carolina in hopes of starting anew. But getting acquainted with the new neighbors isn’t the only thing these two have to worry about.

Claire and Jamie must also learn to navigate the settlement’s contentious relationship with the British (remember the whole American Revolution thing?) and attempt to steer clear of nefarious pirate and smuggler Stephen Bonnet (Ed Speelers). Spoiler alert: They get tangled up with ol’ Stephen and it impacts their family unequivocally.

Meanwhile, in modern times, Claire’s daughter Brianna (Sophie Skelton) and her historian helper Roger (Richard Rankin) discover that her parents reunited in the 18th century…which makes things a little bit more complicated than they already are.

Outlander and all of its season four dramz premieres on Starz on Sunday, November 4, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
