Grains futures mixed, livestock prices fall

Corn and soybean futures rise on the CBOT; beef and pork prices fall

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures were mixed Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery fell 3 cents to $6.825 a bushel; July corn rose 5 cents to $6.485 a bushel; July oats were flat at $4.0825 a bushel; while July soybeans added 1.75 cent to $15.12 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle fell 0.52 cent to $1.1855 a pound; August feeder cattle fell 0.07 cent to $1.4540 a pound; July lean hogs fell 0.95 cent to 97.70 cents a pound.
