Grains futures, livestock prices mixed
Corn and soybean futures fall on the CBOT; pork prices rise
CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures were mixed Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for September delivery was flat at $6.65 a bushel; September corn fell 2.75 cents to $5.295 a bushel; September oats were flat at $3.59 a bushel; while August soybeans slipped 0.25 cent to $14.41 a bushel.
Beef and pork prices were also mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
August live cattle fell 0.10 cent to $1.2185 a pound; August feeder cattle rose 0.25 cent to $1.512 a pound; August lean hogs added 0.50 cent to 97.35 cents a pound.
