Grain futures rose, livestock prices fall

Wheat, corn, oat and soybean futures rise on the CBOT; beef and pork prices fall

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures rose Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery rose 14.75 cents to $7.0325 a bushel; July corn rose 3.5 cents to $6.62 a bushel; July oats rose 3.75 cents to $3.7025 a bushel; while July soybeans rose 5.25 cents to $14.995 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle fell 0.88 cent to $1.1912 a pound; August feeder cattle fell 1.67 cents to $1.4265 a pound; June lean hogs fell 0.35 cent to 94.20 cents a pound.
