Grain futures rise, pork prices fall

Wheat, corn, oat and soybean futures rise on the CBOT; pork prices fall

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures rose Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery rose 14.5 cents to $6.775 a bushel; September corn rose 18.5 cents to $5.5175 a bushel; September oats added 4 cents to $3.61 a bushel; while August soybeans rose 12.75 cents to $14.6825 a bushel.

Beef prices were mixed, while pork prices fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle rose 0.65 cent to $1.2272 a pound; August feeder cattle fell 0.45 cent to $1.5115 a pound; August lean hogs fell 0.38 cent to 95.17 cents a pound.
