Grain futures rise, livestock futures trade mixed

Wheat, corn, oat and soybean futures rise on the CBOT; pork prices fall

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures rose Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery rose 5.50 cents to $8.14 a bushel; March corn rose 10.50 cents to $7.3075 a bushel; March oats rose 2.75 cents to $3.8975 a bushel; while January soybeans jumped 19.50 cents to $14.96 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle rose 1.13 cent to $1.3260 a pound; January feeder cattle slipped 0.05 cent to $1.5307 a pound; February lean hogs fell 0.50 cent to 85.40 cents a pound.
