Grain futures, pork prices mixed
Corn and soybean futures rise on the CBOT; pork prices also rise
CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures rose or were flat Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for May delivery was flat at $6.8875 a bushel; May corn rose 19.25 cents to $6.6325 a bushel; May oats were flat at $3.9075 a bushel; while May soybeans added 4.25 cents to $14.35 a bushel.
Beef and pork prices were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
June live cattle rose 0.20 cent to $1.2280 a pound; May feeder cattle fell 1.03 cent to $1.4077 a pound; June lean hogs rose 0.48 cent to 93 cents a pound.
