Grain futures mostly rise, livestock prices up

Wheat, oat and soybean futures rise on the CBOT; beef and pork prices also rise

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures mostly rose Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery rose 6.75 cents to $6.65 a bushel; September corn slipped 0.75 cent to $5.3225 a bushel; September oats rose 7.75 cents to $3.59 a bushel; while August soybeans rose 7.75 cents to $14.4125 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle added 0.05 cent to $1.2195 a pound; August feeder cattle also rose 0.05 cent to $1.5095 a pound; August lean hogs rose 0.23 cent to 96.85 cents a pound.
