Grain futures mostly fall, pork prices rise

Wheat, corn and soybean futures fall on the CBOT; pork prices rise

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures mostly fell Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery fell 5 cents to $6.60 a bushel; September corn fell 6.5 cents to $5.2575 a bushel; September oats added 1.25 cent to $3.6025 a bushel; while August soybeans fell 9.25 cents to $14.32 a bushel.

Beef prices were mixed, while pork prices rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle was flat at $1.2195 a pound; August feeder cattle rose 0.85 cent to $1.5180 a pound; July lean hogs rose 0.73 cent to $1.0235 cents a pound.
