Grain futures mostly fall, livestock prices rise

Corn, oat and soybean futures fall on the CBOT; beef and pork prices rise

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures mostly fell Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery rose 9 cents to $7.0275 a bushel; July corn slipped 1.25 cent to $6.65 a bushel; July oats fell 3.25 cents to $3.63 a bushel; while July soybeans fell 7.25 cents to $15.0175 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices rise on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle rose 0.62 cent to $1.2137 a pound; August feeder cattle rose 0.15 cent to $1.4562 a pound; June lean hogs added 0.02 cent to 94.72 cents a pound.
