Grain futures mixed, livestock prices fall

Wheat and corn futures rise, while oat and soybean futures fall on the CBOT

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures were mixed Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery rose 3.25 cents to $6.5825 a bushel; September corn added 1.5 cent to $5.33 a bushel; September oats fell 5.25 cents to $3.5125 a bushel; while August soybeans fell 2.75 cents to $14.335 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle fell 0.27 cent to $1.2190 a pound; August feeder cattle fell 0.32 cent to $1.5090 a pound; July lean hogs slipped 0.07 cent to $1.01 cents a pound.
