Grain futures mixed, beef prices fall

Wheat and corn futures fall on the CBOT; beef prices also fall

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures were mixed Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery fell 6.5 cents to $7.025 a bushel; July corn fell 5 cents to $6.35 a bushel; July oats were flat at $3.7725 a bushel; while July soybeans jumped 14.75 cents to $13.97 a bushel.

Beef prices fell, while pork prices rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle fell 0.22 cent to $1.2060 a pound; May feeder cattle fell 0.87 cent to $1.36 a pound; June lean hogs added 0.45 cent to 91.75 cents a pound.
