Grain futures drop, livestock trades mixed
Wheat, corn, soybeans, oats slide on CBOT; beef prices mixed, pork rises
CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures fell Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for March delivery slid 14.75 cents to $7.415 a bushel; March corn fell 6.75 cent to $7.0225 a bushel; March oats dropped 4.75 cents to $3.81 a bushel; while March soybeans lost 21 cents to $14.315 a bushel.
Beef and pork futures closed mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
April live cattle added 0.23 cent to $1.3035 a pound; March feeder cattle fell 0.2 cent to $1.448 a pound; April lean hogs gained 0.25 cent to 86.37 cents a pound.
