Graduation Fails that Will Send Students Back to Class
Graduation season is upon us and for people being forced to attend more than one ceremony, it can be unbearable to sit through yet another 4-hour ordeal. After hearing the 359th name being rattled off, feeling the sharp sting of a sunburn well on its way…just hearing the classic graduation march song ‘Pomp and Circumstance’ will be enough to give you nightmares in the coming days.
Perhaps the one thing that helps families and friends survive the, ahem, happy occasion is a good old-fashioned fail. With students trying to make an impression during their 5 seconds of fame as they walk across the stage, it is inevitable that at least one will trip up/make a fool of themselves. Of course, a glaring typo on a graduation cake is always good for a laugh. You can only hope that the graduate wasn’t responsible for the misspelled message.
Though with the exorbitantly high cost of tuition and subsequent level of student debt paired with difficult job prospects, some might say the greatest graduation fail of all is simply being a graduate right now.
