Students at several Augusta colleges will don caps and gowns through this weekend for graduation ceremonies.

The Medical College of Georgia is holding its hooding ceremony at 2 p.m. Thursday at James Brown Arena. The ceremony, open to all MCG students on all campuses, formally acknowledges medical students' achievement through administering the Hippocratic Oath.

Augusta University's graduate hooding and commencement ceremonies, honoring AU's grad students, will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Augusta Marriott at the Convention Center.

AU is holding two undergraduate commencement ceremonies.

The first will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Marriott. The ceremony will honor all undergraduate students from the College of Allied Health Sciences; College of Education and Human Development; Hull College of Business; and Pamplin College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences.

The second one will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Marriott. Undergraduate students from the College of Nursing; College of Science and Mathematics; and School of Computer and Cyber Sciences will be honored.

Georgia Military College's Augusta campus will hold its graduation at 9 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Augusta.

Paine College's graduation, highlighting a weekend of student and alumni activities, will be at 9 a.m. Sunday at Paine's Gilbert-Lambuth Chapel.
