Governor declares North Dakota Tourism Week; says visitors help fuel state's economy

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) -- Gov. Jack Dalrymple has declared the first full week of May North Dakota Tourism Week.

The governor says tourism is one of the state's leading industries and is an important part of the state's growing economy.

Dalrymple says tourism week is a good opportunity to showcase the state and its people.
