Goodwin named Muncie Housing Authority CEO

MUNCIE, Ind. — The Muncie Housing Authority Board of Commissioners appointed Curtisa A Goodwin as its new chief executive officer.

Goodwin is a Muncie native who has worked with the Muncie Housing Aurthority for 24 years.

She began her career as a public housing property manager at Parkview Apartments in 1999. She became the agency's public housing director in 2017, and in 2021, she was named Muncie Housing Authority chief operating officer.

"Curtisa’s dedication, adoration and the mission of the MHA is clear, with a passion for helping those in need," the agency's news release stated. "She serves her city with dignity and respect, knows her calling is to make a difference, support the community, and change lives for the better."

Goodwin and her husband of 28 years, Rick, have two sons and two granddaughters.
