Good Samaritans Rescue Truck Driver After Dramatic Crash in Pennsylvania

A driver caught the dramatic moment when a cargo truck flipped on a highway near Broomall, Pennsylvania, on July 3.

Victor Alarcon began recording after he noticed there was something wrong with the tractor-trailer, which had been swerving from lane to lane on northbound Interstate 476 near the Broomall exit. The truck then overturned, spewing items from the trailer, according to 6abc Action News.

Alarcon, his father and another man rushed to help the driver. The man was unresponsive but breathing, according to Alarcon.

First responders arrived at the scene, pulled the driver out and sent him to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The incident prompted the closure of the highway for around seven hours. Credit: Victor Alarcon via Storyful
