Gong Yoo's marriage is absurd
27 Oct – A few days ago, various websites and social networking sites spread false rumours that "Coffee Prince" actor Gong Yoo has gotten married in secret to actress Lim Soo-jung. Gong Yoo's agency, Fantagio finally issued a statement stating that the rumour of a secret marriage was groundless, according to allkpop.
Fantagio stated that they will undertake a cyber investigation to find the perpetrators of the false information and will take legal measures if necessary.
"Gong Yoo has been busy with the shooting and the promotion of "The Crucible" since last year's movie "Finding Mr. Destiny".
"Even now, he is getting ready for a large scale Japanese fan meeting in December," hinting that the actor has no time to be marrying Lim Soo-jung in secret with his busy schedule.
The company concluded, "We respectfully request that with the actors in mind, who are really suffering from the ridiculous rumours, so please stop from making any more conjectures or exaggerated reports. We will give news reports on more great activities in the future".
The rumour started on an internet community board with a post that stated that Gong Yoo and Lim Soo-jung had had a secret wedding in the US.
Gong Yoo and Lim Soo-jung are reported to be close friends after filming "Finding Mr. Destiny" together last year. In the past, both Gong Yoo and Lim Soo-jung explained that they were simply "close colleagues".
Currently, Gong Yoo is promoting his new movie "The Crucibles". He will also be busy preparing for his upcoming fan meeting in Japan this December as mentioned earlier.
