Golfers enjoy warm weather by hitting the green

EXETER, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Golfers were enjoying the sunny conditions this afternoon at one Luzerne County Club.

“We’ve been very busy, and it’s great to see everybody coming back for the season,” said Michelle McGraw the general manager of Four Seasons Golf Club.

As their name suggests, Four Seasons Golf Club in Exeter is open all year long, weather permitting.

“We’ve been here quite a bit. more often than not, actually,” says McGraw.

General Manager Michelle McGraw says with the mild winter, they’ve been able to open up quite a bit.

“We’re working on some improvements for the course getting ready for the new season, we’re very excited about it,” stated McGraw.

Their season officially starts on April 1, with a fully open course.

Until then, it remains partially open, with golfers gathering to get some rounds in.

Lots of golfers were out on Thursday enjoying the nice weather. They say they’re ready for the season to kick into full swing.

“Just got out of work. We’re thinking it’s into the 70s. I took my dad out and we had to go to the nearest golf course,” added Doug Campbell.

“I can’t wait for the season to open,” said Diane a golfer.

Four Seasons Golf Club’s season opener is April 1st.
