Planning on attending former President Donald Trump's rally in Wildwood this weekend? Be prepared to pay.
The City of Wildwood Police Department announced on Facebook this week that parking meters will be active ahead of the rally, which will take place on May 11.
The meters will be turned on Thursday, May 9, and will remain on for the rest of the 2024 summer season.
Commenters on the initial Facebook post announcing the date expressed disappointment and upset that the season seemed to be starting early this year.
Multiple commentors on the post referenced signage in Wildwood indicating that the meters would start collecting on May 15, around the same time as years previous.
