Glenn Beck and Vince Vaughn Are Going to Make a TV Show Together

Glenn Beck, he of the whiteboards and conspiracy theories, is teaming up with Vince Vaughn, he of the Wedding Crashers and dating Jennifer Aniston, to create a reality television show about documentary film. Mackenzie Weinger of Politico reports that Beck's TheBlaze TV has partnered with Vaughn's production company and the company behind Laguna Beach, to bring us Pursuit of Truth this coming spring.

Remarkably their product seems fairly tame. Per its web site, the show "will bring together twenty selected filmmakers from across the country to prove to a panel of expert judges that their project is worthy of the grand prize — financing and worldwide distribution for their feature documentary film idea." There's not an overt conservative catch indicated on the show's site, but Beck indicated what he'd like to see on his radio show per Weinger: "I’d like to see the stuff just isn’t done," he said. "And done right. And done without conspiracy. I’d love to see something on the Federal Reserve, the game that’s being played there. I would love to see something on why capitalism is actually a good thing, why it’s not a bad thing." Without conspiracy, eh Glenn Beck

But wait, Vince Vaughn? Well, yes, the actor commonly appears on lists of celebrities who are Republicans, but he won't be appearing on the show, Project Greenlight-style.
