Glastonbury 2017: Katy Perry and Stormzy among 88 new acts added to line-up

Glastonbury Festival is fast approaching and to get punters even more excited, organisers have dropped a HUGE list of names set to appear at Worthy Farm this summer.

Making her Glasto debut will be pop’s finest Katy Perry and Grime’s man-of-the-moment Stormzy.

Biffy Clyro, The XX, Lorde and Solange have also been added to the bill as warm-up for headliners Radiohead, Foo Fighters and Ed Sheeran.

Royal Blood, Major Lazer, Alt-J, Boy Better Know, Run The Jewels and Laura Marling were also revealed this morning on Twitter by festival organiser Emily Eavis, daughter of founder Michael Eavis.

Katy Perry confirmed her involvement on Twitter, alongside an excited tweet asking for ‘tea and crumpets’.

How terribly British.

Ed Sheeran revealed he would be headlining the festival earlier this month when he announced the ‘awesome’ news via a video on Instagram.

He said: ‘Hello from Ed Sheeran, we’re starting the tour off today and I want to make an announcement.

Can't wait @glastofest x

‘I am headlining Glastonbury on the Sunday night which is awesome.’

The previously-confirmed headliners were Radiohead, who will perform on the Friday night, and the Foo Fighters, who will take to the stage on Saturday.

This year’s event, held from June 21 to 25, is expected to attract around 170,000 people.
