At a Glance: Oil tops $86 per barrel

NEW YORK (AP) — The price of oil rose Wednesday on new concerns about possible supply disruptions in the Middle East after Israel launched airstrikes in Gaza.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange:

Benchmark crude rose 94 cents to finish at $86.32 per barrel.

Heating oil rose 2.74 cents to end at $2.9882 per gallon.

Gasoline futures rose 2.52 cents to finish at $2.679 per gallon.

Natural gas rose 2.1 cents to end at $3.76 per 1,000 cubic feet.

On the ICE Futures exchange in London:

Brent crude rose $1.14 to finish the day at $108.48 per barrel.
