GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — The Grand Junction Police Officers’ Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #68 and the Grand Junction Police Department are teaming up to host an “Elementary Jump With Cops” event on Friday, March 29 in an attempt to foster positive relationships between children and local police officers.
GJPD officials have planned a day with various activities including:
Meet and greet
Bump and jump houses
Educational games
We are excited the Fraternal Order of Police is hosting the ‘Elementary Jump with Cops Event!’ By promoting positive interactions and building trust, we hope to continue to strengthen the bond between our community’s youth and our dedicated team of law enforcement officers.

The event will happen at Whitman Park from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
