Girl shot in Northwest DC

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is investigating after a girl was shot Friday morning in Northwest D.C.

Officers received a call about the shooting at 3:30 a.m. and arrived at the scene in the 500 block of Peabody St. NW.

Man fatally shot in Prince George’s County

There, they found a girl who had been shot in the leg. She was taken to a hospital conscious and breathing.
