Girl critically injured after car hits wall 2 teens were sitting on

One teenager was critically injured and another suffered minor injuries after a vehicle struck a stone wall they were sitting on Wednesday afternoon near the Dunham Recreation Complex.

Police were called to the crash at 1945 Dunham Way, on the border of Westwood and West Price Hill, just after 2:20 p.m.

Cincinnati police said a 16-year-old male driving a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze southbound on Dunham Way struck the wall and the two teens sitting on the wall. A 17-year-old female was taken by the Cincinnati Fire Department to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where she is listed in critical condition. A 17-year-old male sustained minor injuries and declined treatment.

Police have not released the names of any of the teens involved in the crash.Police said excessive speed and impairment are being investigated as factors in this crash. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact the Cincinnati Police Department’s Traffic Unit at 513-352-2514.
