Hungarian fashion label Nanushka has taken the fashion industry by storm, captivating a chic wave of influencers worldwide. Designer Sandra Sandor’s elevated line of modernly feminine ready-to-wear clothing and vegan accessories are constantly popping up on our Instagram feeds, and probably on yours, too. So it comes as no surprise that her first foray into homewares would be a rather organic transition. Collaborating with Noha Studio’s Natalie Nemes, Sandra was able to turn her weekend pottery-making hobby into a natural extension of her brand called Nanoha. “The magic of ceramic art lies within the symbolic power to create, by showing how a natural material slowly turns into something unique and the final form stays a mystery until the very last moment,” Sandra says of the process.

Working together, the two created a line of ceramics that falls cohesively in line with Nanushka's laid-back luxe aesthetic. The pieces are made using an ancient Japanese technique called Raku, which involves "the time-consuming combination of burning glazes, burying [the ceramics] in the ground and then washing them into their true form," according to Nanushka's press release. The collection features vases and a range of handle-less coffee cups fit for a wide change of choices—cortados, espressos, flat whites, or just coffee—making them an especially personal addition to your home. (There are also a few notebooks in the mix.) Boasting Sandra's signature earthy pastels and casual femininity, the ceramics possess the same covetable quality as her clothing.

The Nanoha collection is available online at Nanushka.com and will be incorporated in the café at the brand's flagship store in Budapest, where each piece will also be for sale. With Nanushka's sway over social media, you can be sure that the pieces will arrive at your door ready for their (Instagram) close-up.
