Girl, 15, charged in fatal stabbing of 17-year-old girl in the Bronx: NYPD

THE BRONX (PIX11) — A 15-year-old girl was arrested and charged after she allegedly stabbed a 17-year-old girl in the Bronx on Thursday, authorities said.

Police officers discovered Emery Mizell, 17, a few blocks away from her home after she was stabbed in the chest at 1105 Boynton Ave. at 2:16 p.m., according to the NYPD.

First responders rushed Mizell to a local hospital where she later died.

The accused teen was charged with murder, manslaughter, and unlawful possession of a weapon, according to the NYPD.
