With the release of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life on Netflix, it seems that the show is all anyone can talk about. With fans going back to re-watch the original run of the series, new footage from early seasons of Gilmore Girls has been uncovered, including adorable blooper reels.

The blooper reel from the second episode of Season 1, “Love, Daisies, and Troubadours,” resurfaced on YouTube and it is the most amazing thing you’ll see all day. In the reel, we see exactly how amazing the chemistry is between Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel, even in the earliest episodes.

Check it out below:

As with most blooper reels, it features some seriously hilarious misspoken lines, mostly by Graham, and a missed mark by Bledel. The reel also shows Bledel and Graham having the most adorable conversation in an overhead shot of the duo driving a car.

Bledel and Graham have previously opened up about their chemistry on and off the Gilmore Girls set. Bledel, who was new to acting when the show got picked up, credits Graham with helping her get acclimated to the industry. Graham and Bledel told the Today Show about their chemistry and Graham revealed that she used to ~literally~ push Bledel into hitting her marks.

“There was so much to take in, and then the lines. The camerawork on that show is very specific and we really had to hit certain marks, which especially when you start out, is just a foreign concept. I remember a lot of times just kind of grabbing her, just kind of leading her arm. So, in the beginning, people are like, ‘You have such great chemistry.’ And I’m like, ‘I’m mauling her. That’s why.'”

The blooper reel shows exactly how much alike Graham and Bledel are to their characters. We love when co-stars who have amazing chemistry on-screen have amazing chemistry off-screen as well!
