Gilmore Girls: Amy Schumer Responds to A Year in the Life Trailer Call-Out
It’ll still be a while before we know what Gilmore Girls‘ four final words are, but another big question raised by the series’ new trailer got a quick, energetic response Wednesday.
“Do you think Amy Schumer would like me?” Lorelai muses to Rory in the recently released Netflix revival’s sneak peek. Turns out, the answer is…
“I would love her!” the comedienne tweeted not long after the teaser hit the Internet.

The Inside Amy Schumer star/creator’s answer is the exact opposite of what Rory answers in the clip, which was released as part of the continuation’s panel at the Television Critics Association summer press tour. Rory’s reasoning?
“Water sports,” the younger Gilmore says. “Every single time I see her in a magazine, she’s on vacation, doing water sports.”
