Gilda’s Club has new support group for adults
Gilda’s Club Quad Cities is adding an additional Connecting Through Cancer Support Group for adults with any cancer diagnosis at Gilda’s Club Quad Cities Davenport Clubhouse, 1351 W. Central Park Ave., Suite 200, Davenport, according to a news release.
The support group will be held on the second and fourth Tuesdays from 3:30-5 p.m. beginning April 9.
The group is for individuals with any cancer diagnosis to make connections with other people in a similar situation. Participants will share feelings, share successes, worries, questions, and discuss anything else they need regarding their diagnosis and treatment.
Participants who have never attended Gilda’s Club programming must first attend a Welcome Meeting with Gilda’s Club staff. Sign up for a Welcome Meeting online here.
