Giants RB Bradshaw has another foot operation

New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw had another surgery on his right foot to replace a screw, he told reporters in New Orleans on Friday.

Bradshaw said he had the surgery two weeks ago and will need another eight weeks to recover while attending an autograph signing.

The running back missed six games over the past two years because of foot and ankle injuries.

Bradshaw said the new screw "is bigger and will go through two bones" to repair the fracture from last year and the crack from 2011.

He also told reporters that the stem cell treatment he received last offseason "wore off."

Bradshaw acknowledged that his future with the Giants is up in the air with the emergence of rookie David Wilson and Andre Brown. Bradshaw is schedule to make $3.75 million this year and $4 million in 2014. ESPN reported that the Giants are projected to be about $5 million over the salary cap.
