Ghost gun and catalytic converter found in Pleasanton traffic stop

(KRON) – A person on probation was arrested after a ghost gun and cut catalytic converter was found in a vehicle, Pleasanton Police Department said.

Pleasanton police officers conducted a traffic stop near Owens Drive and Rosewood Drive. During the traffic stop, the officers said they learned one of the passengers was on probation.

In the inspection of the vehicle, the officers found a loaded ghost gun hidden beneath the rear passenger seat and a cut catalytic converter in the trunk, police said.

The passenger was arrested and taken to jail for a weapons violation.
