German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock arrived in Kyiv on May 21 for a diplomatic visit, the German Foreign Ministry reported.

"Our support is rooted in the deep conviction that Ukraine will prevail in this war," she said.

Russian dictator Vladimir "Putin speculates that at some point we will run out of strength, but we will not give up (on Ukraine).”

“Together with many other countries from all corners of the world, Germany stands firmly with Ukraine."

Ukrainians can rely on long-term support from Germany, she said.

Berlin will demonstrate this commitment in June by "inviting the world to a conference on Ukraine's recovery."

"Together with our partners worldwide and a strong alliance of business, civil society, and local authorities, we are investing in a long-term insurance policy for Ukraine's future."

Baerbock's trip aims to reassure Ukrainian colleagues that Germany and Europe will continue to stand by Ukraine and maintain their support.

This marks her seventh visit to Ukraine since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion.
