Georgia woman gets cold fries at McDonald's, barges into kitchen and fires gun

A Georgia woman who reportedly fired a gun into the floor of a McDonald's kitchen Monday afternoon had a pretty wild motivation for her crime: cold french fries.

The owner of a McDonald's franchise in Garden City, Ga., said the woman received her order, then returned to the counter to complain about her cold food, according to WTOC.

As the manager went into the kitchen to retrieve hotter fries, the woman allegedly followed him with a gun. She then barged into the kitchen and fired a shot into the floor, according to the owner.

The woman was gone by the time police arrived on the scene but authorities were later able to track her down in her car and arrest her.

This fast food-related crime comes about a month after a Tennessee woman was arrested at a McDonald's for allegedly attacking a drive-thru manager with a stun gun. That incident was apparently not because of cold fries.

Instead, the victim, 19-year-old fast-food worker Jacob Jordan, told police his attacker was mad about the long line at the drive-thru, and also said Jordan deserved to be hurt because had voted for Donald Trump in 2016. In fact, Jordan was too young to vote when Trump was elected.

Last December, a Florida man was caught on video assaulting a McDonald's employee over what some bystanders claimed was an argument about a plastic straw. He was ultimately sentenced to 60 days in jail.
