Georgia QB Jake Fromm got a fishing lure stuck in his leg
Fishing can be dangerous. Just ask Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm.

And then this happened. Yep, that’s a fishing lure stuck in Fromm’s leg. Gnarly.
Fromm was OK, though removing the lure required a trip to a local medical center.
The sophomore-to-be quarterback took over as Georgia’s starting quarterback early in the 2017 season as Jacob Eason injured his knee. Fromm enters the 2018 season as Georgia’s starter, though he’ll face some competition from highly touted signee Justin Fields. Eason, meanwhile, has transferred to Washington where he’s seen as the likely successor to Jake Browning as the Huskies’ QB.
