“Georgia pump price average continues its downward trend across the state,” said Montrae Waiters, AAA-The Auto Club Group spokeswoman.
It now costs $64.80 to fill a 15-gallon tank of regular gas, and drivers are paying $21.15 more at the pump than last year.
Waiters said the demand for gas is going down which is making the oil prices lower.

“Crude oil continues to decline and demand dropped, which has helped to lower gas prices,” said Waiters.
AAA said since last Monday, the national average for a gallon of regular gas has gone down by 9 cents. It is now $4.81, which is subject to change overnight.
