While President Donald Trump sits and stews up in the Oval Office as the walls close in, let’s take a break to check in on the last Republican to hold the office: George W. Bush.

Bush, as any baseball fan knows, once owned the Texas Rangers. He’s been a mainstay behind the plate in Arlington ever since he left office in 2009, delivering a first pitch with his dad at the World Series in 2010 and being saved by A.J. Pierzynski when a foul ball came near him in 2011.

Take a look:

Yup, that sure looks like a guy who’s happy to see his legacy improve by the minute while he does nothing but watch his beloved Rangers play ball. Life is apparently good for the 43rd President of the United States.
