George Clooney Makes an 87-Year-Old Fan Very Happy With Surprise Visit to Nursing Home

An 87-year-old woman got the loveliest of surprises when her heartthrob, actor George Clooney, showed up at her assisted living center bearing flowers and a card.

In a photo posted to Facebook, Pat Adams smiles broadly in a white cardigan, her deeply veined hands folded demurely in her lap, as the handsome movie star leans over her, his hand clasped firmly on her shoulder.

“The lady in the picture loves George Clooney and mentions every day how she would love to meet him, especially as he lives so near to where I work,” wrote Linda Jones, an employee at Sunrise Senior Living in Great Britain, on her social media page.

“So letter(s) have been sent, asking would it be possible for her to dream to come true,” Jones said. “And what was extra special, it was her birthday in the week. He brought a card and a lovely bunch of flowers.”

The Oscar-winning actor showed up unannounced, stunning staff and seniors alike.

Clooney and his human rights attorney wife, Amal, are expecting twins and have been staying at their nearby estate in the English countryside.

The babies, a boy and a girl, are due this summer.
