PORTSMOUTH - Great Bay Community College will host an open house from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 18, at its Portsmouth campus, providing prospective students with the opportunity to learn about the college, tour the campus, and meet faculty, staff, and students. Admission counselors, academic advisors, professors, staff members, and students will be available to talk about Great Bay’s more than 50 academic programs, financial aid and scholarships, student life activities, academic support and wellness programs, and more.

Participants also can receive assistance with the application process. Registration is open for the Summer and Fall semesters. Summer classes start on May 20.  “Great Bay has a lot to offer, and the Open House is a good way for prospective students to learn about our academic programs, our affordability, and our track record of success” says Director of Admissions, Steve Gorman.

People who attend the open house will have the chance to hear from College President Cheryl Lesser and current Great Bay students, who will share their experiences and answer questions. Campus tours will be available, and at 4:15 and 5 p.m. the Business and Training Center will present information sessions about the college’s acclaimed 12-week Medical Assistant Training Program.
