Gazini Ganados still celebrating her Miss Universe-PH win
18 Jun – After a week into her crowning, Gazini Ganados recently admitted that it was only now that it had struck her she is the new Miss Universe-Philippines.
The beauty queen recently posted a new photo of herself on social media, writing, "Earlier today, I woke up with nothing but a grateful heart. Media week has been very fun and busy and it is only this morning that it finally sunk in that my dream came true exactly a week ago."
"I am certain that this dream happened for a reason to achieve a greater purpose and I am surrendering everything to the Universe. My journey may be far from over but every single day, my heart gets even stronger. Forever thankful," she added.
Ganados is set to compete in the upcoming Miss Universe pageant, and is planning to keep the crown in the country by securing a back-to-back win following the reign of Catriona Gray as the current Miss Universe.
